Represents Somalia in COMESA and maintains official focal-point coordination with the COMESA Secretariat and member states.

Coordinates Somalia’s East African Community accession commitments and implementation obligations following membership as the 8th EAC partner state.
Horn of Africa Initiative
Manages Somalia’s participation in the Horn of Africa Initiative trade facilitation roadmap to improve regional connectivity and trade efficiency.
WTO Coordination
Supports Somalia’s World Trade Organization observer and accession engagement, including policy alignment and international trade dialogue.
Bilateral Trade Relations
Negotiates and implements bilateral trade agreements and cooperation frameworks to strengthen Somalia’s international trade partnerships.
