Kismayo, July 24, 2024: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Federal Government of Somalia, inaugurated the Somali business registration system in Jubaland, held in Kismayo. Recently, Jubaland’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry staff and leaders have been trained on this sytem, and it will soon be extended to other regional authorities nationwide.

Minister of Commerce and Industry Hon. Jibril Abdirashid Hagi Abdi expressed his gratitude to the leaders and government of Jubaland, as well as to state-level Ministers of Commerce and Industry, and the Chambers of Commerce and Industry at both federal and regional levels for their significant contributions to the system’s implementation. He emphasized the ministry’s ongoing commitment to advancing and facilitating business development across the country.
