The State minister of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Federal Government of Somalia H.E. Abdisalam Sharif Hussein has attended the Joint AU Ministers in charge of Industrialization & Economic Diversification opening ceremony in Niamey 3 TO 7 NOVEMBER 2022 FOR THE MINISTERIAL SEGMENT IN NIAMEY, NIGER under the Theme: “Industrializing Africa: Renewed Commitment Towards Inclusive and Sustainable Industrialization and Economic Diversification”.
The 35th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union Heads of State and Government held on 5 and 6 February 2022, requested the African Union Commission in collaboration with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the AfroChampions Initiative to organize the African Union Summit on Industrialization and Economic Diversification, during the Africa Industrialization Week from 20 to 25 November 2022 in Niamey, Niger.
