This document summarizes the main findings from the follow-up surveys in Somalia. Business owners and top managers of 250 firms were interviewed between October 2019 and March 2020 as part of the standard ES.
The COVID-19 survey has been expanded to an additional three cities that were not covered as part of the 2019 ES – Baidoa, Beledweyne and Kismayo. The same firms were re-contacted in December 2020/January 2021 for the second round of follow up survey, and again in August/September 2021 for a third round of follow-up.
This document complements a similar summary that was prepared immediately after the first and second rounds of the follow-up survey.
